Holcombe Flowage report 7-3-08: The forecast is low 70s today and then warming to 80 for the weekend. Water levels are about normal. Fish are biting pretty steady. Musky and Pike have been aggressive and are biting on spinner baits, bucktails and top water. Small mouth Bass are extremely aggressive hitting top water in early AM and pretty constant throughout the day on live bait. Pan fish are in the brush and pads. For our friends with no water in the lake (Arbutus) and everyone from points south with too much water, Holcombe and surrounding lakes are all fine to fish, boat & ski/tube on.
